We are Toby & Genevieve and in 2019 we set ourselves the challenge of climbing every Tor on Dartmoor within 18 months, so we set up the Facebook page "Tor of the Moor" to encourage ourselves to persevere! Since we set ourselves that challenge, several things have cropped up such as a pandemic, moving house, degrees, change of jobs and everything else life throws! We have also discovered that there is no definitive list of Tors and the definition of a Tor is highly debated!! So whilst we still aim to bag them all, we have set our goal to routing as many loops and trails as possible for others like us who want to explore the less beaten path.

We are both local with Toby being brought up across the border in South East Cornwall and Genevieve around Tavistock (with a short time in the Scottish Cairngorms too) and we both love everything Dartmoor!

Heavily featured are our adventure hounds who accompany us and leads the way on our new routes!
